West Virginia Federation of Republican Women - "Rebuilding Trust, Honesty & Integrity"
The Pleasants Co. RW will host the 39th Biennial Convention for the WVFRW in Mineral Wells, WV on October 29, 2011. The general session will begin at 9 a.m. at Comfort Suites Hotel located at the intersection of I-77 & Route 14, Exit 170. The WVFRW Executive Board members will meet on Friday, October 28 at 7 p.m. at the same location. The Federation would like to invite everyone to join us for dinner at 5:30 p.m. at the Cracker Barrell prior to the Executive Board meeting on Friday.
REGISTRATION - The registration fee is $35.00 per person. Make checks payable to Pleasants Co. RW and mail to: Betty Bailey, 2179 French Creek Road, St. Mary's, WV 26170. Registrations must be received by October 21, 2011.
FUNDRAISER - We are having a white elephant sale. Everyone is asked to bring something patriotic that you would like to donate for the fundraiser.
CONVENTION AGENDA - We will be electing officers for the 2012-13 term. We will address the Public Relations proposal on membership, vote on the proposed Bylaws submitted by the Bylaws Committee and acknowledge each local club's Woman of the Year.
LADY AMBASSADORS - If you would like to be a WVFRW Lady Ambassador, please send a donation of at least $50.00 to Gladys Lemley, WVFRW Treasurer, before October 21.
