Gladys Lemley, WVFRW President & Deborah Trippett, WVFRW Treasurer
The West Virginia Federation of Republican Women 39th Biennial was hosted by the Pleasants County RW at the Comfort Suites, Mineral Wells, WV today. Among the highlights was WCRW members Gladys Lemley and Deborah Trippett being elected and installed as Officers for the WVFRW for the 2012-13 term and Deidre Lake as a Member-at-Large. Wood County had 8 ladies present. WCRW received awards from the National Federation of Republican Women: Silver Club Achievement Awared & Outstanding Website for the Week. Gladys Lemley attended the NFRW 36th Biennial in Kansas City, MO and will share about the experience at our November 5th meeting.
Linda Rabatin, Republican Women of the Year for WCRW was honored along with other local club's women from West Virginia. Linda is on the left pictured above. Parts of the WVFRW By-Laws were changed and 3 Resolutions were adopted. The fate of the Stubblefield Bowl was placed in the hands of an appointed committee headed up by WCRW member, Mary Ann Osborne, Past President WVFRW. Lady Ambassadors were honored which included WCRW member Gladys Lemley.
The WVFRW Spring Board will be held on April 20&21, 2012 and hosted by Putnam County Republican Women. Mark you calendars now and plan to attend!
